The Pasadena Whole Foods Market on Arroyo Parkway, the largest Whole Foods west of the Rockies, will open its first Whole Foods restaurant on Friday. So if you feel like sitting down to a proper dinner with a server—rather than your usual dinner at the salad bar, sushi chef, and pizza counter—you can.

The 110 & Bellevue restaurant (named after its cross streets) occupies the space previously occupied by the wine bar, Bar Level II, on the second floor.

Chef Joanna Ramos leads the kitchen with a menu the market calls “California Country Food.” Entrees include the classic Caesar salad ($8), Peruvian shrimp ($12), grilled salmon tacos ($14), grilled flatbread ($9), 14-ounce dry-eyed salmon ($23) and brick chicken ($16).

Ramos also makes “light meals” of Sriracha-honey chicken wings ($9), Irish nachos with whiskey-aged cheddar ($9) and fried pickles ($8). You can order sandwiches and hamburgers, sushi, fries, etc. (As your local Whole Foods pub.)

There will be a grand opening at 110 and Bellevue on December 5 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. with live music and a free glass with beer or wine purchase.
